Youth

The youth are the future of Sheridan, and we are dedicated to empowering them to reach their full potential so they can advocate for themselves and their community. At Sheridan Rising, our youth programming consists of the Youth Council, events and outreach, and research.

Youth Community Needs Assessment

A community needs assessment is an intensive research project meant to identify the assets, resources, and needs of a community through community outreach and gathering data. â€‹After conducting focus groups with Sheridan High School students, we decided on 4 focus areas: health and well-being, education, finance/economy, and community engagement. â€‹

Youth Opportunity Board - Coming Soon!

There are a lot of great opportunities for youth in Sheridan to get involved with the community while gaining valuable experience.

If you or your organization is interested in submitting a position to be posted, please email Sheridanrising@gmail.com
