The Institutions committee works to ensure that all institutions (schools/school boards, city council, and parks  & recreation) are representative of our community, equitable, and provide essential services. Issue areas include language justice at city council and school board meetings, voter registration, and candidate forums. 

The Programs & Activities committee works to ensure that everyone of all ages has access to programs and activities to create a sense of well-being and community to provide unique experiences. Issue areas include created culturally relevant events, job training programs, and a soccer program.

The Sheridan Youth Council is a group of young organizers dedicated to improving educational opportunities, creating a diverse curriculum, and discovering opportunities for all youth in Sheridan. Issue areas include mental health, events, student engagement, voter registration, and the school board.
